Following on from the previous report, this time we will report on environmental activities in various regions.
On July 13, Panasonic AVC Networks Xiamen Co., Ltd. (PAVCX) launched an environmental protection activity. A total of 112 employees and their families observed the wildlife at Lehai Park in Ji Mei District, Xiamen City, and then picked up trash, spending the day recognizing the importance of protecting the marine environment.
Panasonic Wanbao AP Beauty Living Guangzhou Co., Ltd. (PWAPBLGZ) has launched an energy-saving and power-saving campaign since July, aiming to reduce total electricity consumption by 10% year-on-year through measures such as eco-consciousness publicity, energy-saving renovations, and environmental protection activities. PWAPBLGZ is raising employees' environmental awareness through eco-posters and the formulation of energy-saving management standards. In addition to inspecting the company's power equipment and quickly improving energy waste, the company is promoting a series of measures, including renovating solar-powered street lights, installing lighting sensors in warehouses, improving air compressor leaks, improving cold air loss in aisles, and limiting temperature settings. PWAPBLGZ will continue to promote energy-saving and environmental protection activities and contribute to the sustainable development of society and environmental protection.
On August 29th, Panasonic CNS Guangdong Co., Ltd. (PCNSGD) conducted a volunteer environmental conservation activity under the theme "Let's all protect the environment, and the environment will protect us." For the activity, more than 30 volunteers were divided into four groups and used garbage collection equipment to clean up the factory and surrounding areas, as well as the grass. As a result of the employees' work, which lasted for more than an hour, the area around the factory was cleaned up and the environment was renewed.
