Clean-Up Activity in Brussels

7 people a dog joined the clean-up on 29 June.
It was the first time this clean-up activity took place in Brussels. We went to Parc de Bruxelles, which is only eight minutes from the Brussels office.
The team managed to collect a large amount of litter, and the bags quickly became full and heavy. Most of the waste consisted of plastic bottles, food packaging, and cigarette packs.
The clean-up took place shortly after the heatwave that affected Europe. After a week of temperatures reaching 40°C, the weather was much more pleasant at around 26°C.
We worked mostly under the trees, which provided welcome shade and cooler conditions.
After the clean-up, we enjoyed some refreshing drinks together in the park.
