Environmental Activity Carried Out by PIDTJ
On June 1, Panasonic Industrial Devices Tianjin Co., Ltd. (PIDTJ) carried out an environmental activity combining walking and community cleanup for employees and their families.
Participants walked along the course while collecting litter and waste found along roadsides. In addition to promoting health and well-being, children gained hands-on experience in waste separation and environmental protection, helping them develop a greater awareness of the importance of caring for their local environment.
The activity also encouraged participants to be mindful of reducing CO2 emissions from transportation. Through this fun and educational activity, parents and children were able to learn together and further strengthen their communication with each other.
PCNSGD Carried Out a Cleanup Volunteer Activity
To mark World Environment Day on June 5 and to further raise employees’ awareness of environmental protection while fostering a sense of responsibility and commitment to the local community, Panasonic Connected Solutions Guangdong Co., Ltd. (PCNSGD) carried out an environmental volunteer activity on the afternoon of June 3 under the theme “Protect the Environment Together, for Everyone.”
During the activity, participants were divided into groups and collected litter such as plastic bottles and packaging bags scattered along the main roads and green areas of the industrial park, using reusable environmental bags and cleaning tools. As a result of the approximately two-hour activity, more than 50 kg of waste was collected, greatly improving the environment around the industrial park.
PECSZ Carried Out an Environmental Walking Event
On June 13, Panasonic Energy Suzhou Co., Ltd. (PECSZ) carried out an environmental walking and litter collection volunteer activity at the Shihu Scenic Area in Suzhou, with the participation of 40 employees.
Participants walked a course of about 5 kilometers from Taohua Island through Li Island to Cengtai Qingxiao, collecting litter such as plastic bottles and cigarette butts found along walkways, green areas, and wooden paths. The collected waste was sorted and disposed of properly according to waste separation rules. Environmental learning points were also set up along the route, where employees and visitors could learn about environmental protection by scanning QR codes.
This activity was carried out to promote a green and low-carbon lifestyle, enrich employees’ recreational activities, strengthen teamwork, and further raise environmental awareness.
PECW Carried Out an Environmental Beautification Activity
On June 13, Panasonic Energy Wuxi Co., Ltd. (PECW) carried out a volunteer environmental beautification activity combined with Chinese bayberry picking for 570 employees.
While enjoying the sweet and sour fruits, participants collected litter left in the orchard and helped clean the area. Through their actions, they contributed to protecting the natural environment. This activity combined interaction with nature and environmental protection, allowing participants not only to enjoy fresh Chinese bayberries but also to help make the orchard cleaner through their small but meaningful efforts.
PIDQD Carried Out a Litter Collection Activity Around the Factory
On June 29, the Environmental Office of Panasonic Industrial Devices Qingdao Co., Ltd. (PIDQD) carried out a litter collection activity around the factory with employee volunteers under the slogan, “A Decarbonized Society Starts with Awareness, and Waste Reduction Starts with Action.”
Participants worked together with garbage bags to collect litter such as plastic shopping bags, cigarette butts, and food packaging scattered along roads, in planted areas, and in drainage ditches around the factory. The collected waste was sorted, placed into bags, and gathered for disposal.
