"AKARI" Bringing Light to People Project

(This content is exclusively for people residing in Japan.)

The Recycle Fund

Second-hand books, CDs or DVDs, jewelry, brand-name merchandise, and other items will be purchased by the Kishapon donation service run by the company SAGANO. Household items that are acceptable as donations have been expanded beyond books and CDs or DVDs. The amount assessed for contributed items goes toward purchasing solar lanterns, which are then donated to an NGO or NPO that provides lanterns to an area supported by the project.
For more details on items acceptable for donation and how to send your items,
visit Kishapon (Japanese only) or call toll-free: 0120-29-7000 (9:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.)

* Collaborating companies changed on May 11, 2021.
* Only books published with an ISBN number will be accepted.
Also, only send items that are clean and in good condition, items that someone else will feel good to use.
* Please be aware that Panasonic will not issue a receipt.
