CHAMPIONS PARK

As a Champions Park Presenting Partner, Panasonic will celebrate medaled athletes and support the live screening of finals in the Champions Park.

Outline

The Champions Park will be opened in Trocadero Gardens, located at the foot of the Eiffel Tower in the center of Paris, France, for 9 days from July 29 to August 10. It will be a place where sports fans from around the world can gather to see medal-winning athletes in person. Ceremonies to celebrate the athletes medaled during the period will be held here and, for the first time in Olympics history, all medalists will be given an opportunity to interact directly with thousands of fans. Moreover, visitors to the Champions Park will be able to watch live screenings of each day’s finals to share in the excitement of the historical moment.

A range of other events and entertainments will also be happening in the Champions Park, which will be open to the public free of charge with the aim of providing each visitor with a supremely unforgettable experience.

Panasonic’s Plans

WARM-UP EVENTS

As a Champions Park Presenting Partner, Panasonic will organize the “Sharing the Passion” DANCE CAM x DJ Performance Programme to create more excitement for visitors to the Champions Park through live DJs and audience dancing.

The sport of breaking, also known as breakdancing, will make its Olympic Games debut at Paris 2024. To celebrate, audiences at the Champions Park will have the chance to groove along to music played on Panasonic’s Technics, the DJ turntable officially adopted for the new Olympic event. In addition, Panasonic’s broadcasting cameras, which have been used at the Olympic and Paralympic Games for more than 30 years, will provide a big-screen dance cam, spotlighting passionate dancers in real time to create a sense of unity across the venue.

Through the power of sports and technology, Panasonic is committed to providing all visitors to the Champions Park with sensational experiences based on the concept of “Sharing the Passion” and thereby contributing to the development and promotion of the Olympic Movement.

IOC Young Leaders Booth

At the venue, a booth will be established for the IOC Young Leaders Programme, which was developed by Panasonic and the International Olympic Committee (IOC) to support the next generation of leaders. At the booth, eight young leaders who are working on social issues will participate in talk sessions with athletes and others and introduce the activities that they themselves have designed to create a better world. Panasonic will address a range of themes with these leaders, who are contributing to society through sports.

In addition, at the side of the booth, we will set up a photo booth to capture the emotional moments of Champions Park visitors.
