The Group DEI Promotion Council is a forum for the CEOs of every operating company in the Panasonic Group to commit to promoting DEI and to engage in continuing dialogue on the Groupwide initiatives.
What is the Group DEI Promotion Council?
All CEOs of operating companies in the Panasonic Group are committed to promoting DEI as a business strategy that will help to maximize the potential of each employee. One of these strategies is the formation of the Group DEI Promotion Council, a forum for top management in the Panasonic Group to hold a continuing dialogue on promoting DEI and to share awareness of DEI issues. With the participation of the Group CEO, Yuki Kusumi, as chairperson, the Council has been functioning since fiscal 2021. It makes decisions on Groupwide principal actions for promoting DEI, as well as sharing best practices specific to each operating company.
