Panasonic Group’s HR Strategy
To drive business success and enhance corporate value across the Panasonic Group, we have developed an HR strategy aligned with our growth strategy and are implementing five transformative actions.
Overview of Panasonic Group’s HR Strategy
As part of our growth strategy toward 2032, the Panasonic Group is committed to addressing two key societal challenges: "the efficient use of energy" and "labor shortages in frontline operations." By supporting AI infrastructure and enabling social operations, we will contribute to solving these challenges in society. In developing our Group's HR Strategy, we identified the people and organizational challenges that must be addressed to realize this vision.
From a perspective for people, our challenge is to redeploy talent to growth areas and build the capabilities needed for future business success. However, acquiring capabilities alone is not enough. Business growth can only be achieved when employees are able to fully UNLOCK their capabilities in an environment that enables them to thrive. To address these challenges, we have defined five transformative actions focused on both our people and our organization.
Five Transformative Actions
Through the five transformative actions outlined below, we will UNLOCK the potential of our people and organization, strengthening our ability to execute strategy while driving sustainable business growth, enhancing corporate value, and realizing the well-being of our employees.
1. Human Resource Portfolio Transformation
- We are building highly productive business processes by leveraging data and technologies, including generative AI. At the same time, we closely monitor workforce size and labor costs while tracking headcount, personnel expense, and productivity indicator established by each operating company.
- We are making employees’ skills and experience visible to identify the capabilities required to execute our growth strategy. Through a combination of recruitment, development (reskilling), internal reassignment , and external collaboration, we are systematically building the talent portfolio needed for future growth.
Developing successors with strong emphasis on leadership behaviors, diverse experience, knowledge, and skills

Realizing participative management through collective wisdom that leverages individual differences as strengths, regardless of attributes
