KWN Kids’ Report is held in various countries
Here are actual examples of activities
We offer Kids Report as a place to experience video production from a journalist’s perspective, where children challenge themselves to create news report programs
Through the support of adults and cooperation from companies, Kids Report aims to provide children with special experiences to which they would not normally have access. Unlike workshops, this program offers valuable opportunities such as reporting on events or visits to company factories or offices that children would not typically be able to access.

Reporting on the Panasonic Open Golf Championship!
During the Panasonic Open Golf Championship 2024, held at the Arima Royal Golf Club in Hyogo Prefecture, students selected from KWN Japan-participating schools took on various activities.
The students who participated conducted interviews with golfers and tournament officials and received valuable advice that will benefit their broadcasting club. They also had the opportunity to interact with the golfers, received signed items, and had an incredible experience.

Taking on Even the Challenges of Starting Announcements and Program Production!
Broadcasting club students participated in an online lecture before the event and then took on the challenge of making announcements on the day. Despite initial nervousness, they made calm and composed announcements, earning praise from the golfers. The participating students also took on the challenge of producing a report program on the event. We cannot wait to see the completed work.
At the Panasonic Open, KWN activities allowed next-generation broadcasting club members to gain valuable experience.
“Kid Witness News (KWN)” is a CSR program by Panasonic in Vietnam that provides free video and filmmaking workshops for local students. In 2024, the program introduces a new factory tour and kid reporter experience. Students will use professional cameras to film the manufacturing process and interview employees, connecting theory with practice. This experience offers a valuable opportunity to enhance their learning motivation and gain a deeper understanding of Panasonic’s commitment to sustainability.

A Discover My Path Program × KWN Workshop was held at a special needs school in Saitama Prefecture, with seven students from the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd years of high school participating.
In the class, students reflected on how their present connects to their future, and they engaged in individual work to think about where they want to be in 15 years. They learned about teamwork and role-sharing through interviews and video production experiences.
