[Activity Report] Contribution to Children’s Learning at Night and Family Socialization (Cambodia)

The Panasonic Group is engaged in the “LIGHT UP THE FUTURE Project,” which aims to bring light to people in areas without electricity who are trapped in poverty due to the lack of light and power.
In this article, we present a report on when we donated about 1,000 solar lanterns to the western provinces of Pursat and Battambang in Cambodia together with JELA Foundation and Life With Dignity (LWD) in 2022. The solar lanterns are mainly used for children's study, safety at night and family socialization. The report highlights the changes of children’s education and lifestyles before and after the donation, as well as the changes of household activities and finances based on the household survey and group discussions conducted approximately one year after donation,
