It is why we want to support the next generation in their learning. We established Panasonic Scholarship Asia to support young talent and help foster the next generation of leaders in Asia. From scholarship aid to connecting with alumni, our program supports students in Asia enrolled in education and apprenticeships when and where they need it most. We will continue supporting people’s potential wherever they are, to make the world a better place.

Based on the belief that it is people who create a sustainable society, the Panasonic Scholarship was established in 1998 to commemorate the 80th anniversary of Panasonic’s founding, with the aim of fostering young talent to lead Asia in the 21st century.

Support for Learning Since 1998, we have been providing support for master’s degree students primarily from eight countries and regions in Asia (Indonesia, India, Taiwan, Malaysia, the Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, and China) who are studying science and engineering in Japan. Starting in 2014, as a part of our community-based next-generation support, we also extended our support to students studying at local universities and vocational training schools in nine countries and regions, with the inclusion of Cambodia.

Through this program, we will strive to enable alumni to succeed in all aspects of their lives.

Panasonic will continue to provide support for our alumni as they continue to make a difference worldwide.
