Awards
The Panasonic Group was the first company in Japan to introduce a five‐day workweek, and has been a pioneer in creating an environment in which diverse human resources can demonstrate their abilities. However, in an era of social change and increasingly diverse customer values, there is still much more to be done.
We will accelerate our DEI initiatives as a group while learning from various precedents in society.

Received the Prize for Effort in the Awards for Equal Opportunity Companies (Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare)
This award is given to companies that promote positive actions to encourage female workers to exercise their potential.

Received the Top Prize in the Awards for Equal Opportunity Companies (Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare)
This award is given to companies that promote positive actions to encourage female workers to exercise their potential.
2005
Received the Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare Prize for Excellence in the Family-Friendly Company Awards (Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare)
This award system recognizes companies that set an example for other companies by having a system that allows workers to balance work and childcare/nursing care, and by providing diverse and flexible work options.
2006
Received the Nikkei Child Care Support Award (Nikkei Inc.)
This award system evaluates companies, municipalities, and organizations that have put in place advanced and excellent childcare support measures in terms of novelty of model, future potential, track record, and other criteria.
2007
Received the Telework Promotion Award (Japan Telework Association)
This award system recognizes companies and organizations that contribute to the spread and promotion of teleworking, a flexible work style that utilizes information and communications technology (ICT) and is not restricted by location or time.
2016–2023
Received the PRIDE Index Gold Award for LGBTQ+ Initiatives
The PRIDE Index is a system which evaluates companies' efforts to accommodate sexual minorities, established by work with Pride, a voluntary organization that works to create comfortable workplaces regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, and other factors. We have received the highest-ranked Gold Award for eight consecutive years from 2016 to 2023.
