Panasonic Scholarship in Malaysia
Panasonic Group of Companies in Malaysia presented scholarship awards to 5 university students from different universities in Malaysia. Yang Berbahagia Dato’ Lokman Hakim Ali, Secretary General of Ministry of International Trade & Industry Malaysia presented these scholarships to the 5 deserving nominees. These scholarships were presented to the students to pursue their Bachelor’s Degrees. The scholarship program is part of Panasonic’s efforts to contribute to the society intellectually and academically.
The students who received these scholarships are Ms. Lee Ning Xin, majoring in Chemical Engineering from University of Malaya, Mr. Mughilan A/L M. Sugumaran, majoring in Biomedical Engineering from University of Technology Malaysia, Mr. Oscar Ling Fang Jack, majoring in Mechatronic Engineering from University of Technology Malaysia, Ms. Nur Yohan Binti Samsul Huda, majoring in Biomedical Engineering from University of Technology Malaysia, Ms. Tan Siew Mean, majoring in Chemical Engineering from University of Technology Malaysia.

This Panasonic Scholarship is one aspect of our efforts to nurture excellent “Human Development” by supporting all of you. It was created with the aim of cultivating an advanced human resource system to support the development of Malaysia.
The Panasonic Scholarship Program was established in 1998 as a way for the company to contribute to society as part of its CSR activities. Its aim is to provide scholarship opportunities to Malaysian students to pursue Bachelor’s Degree in local national universities.
