The KWN Global Summit 2025 was once again held online this year, bringing together children from around the world.
To embody the theme "The world is connected as one," participants took part in a symbolic relay,
virtually passing a globe-shaped ball to express unity and connection beyond borders.

KWN Global Summit 2025 Report

The KWN Global Summit 2025 was held online again this year. Based in Tokyo, the summit was attended by 10 countries: Brazil, Cambodia, China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, the Philippines, the United States, and Vietnam.
Children representing the 320 teams and over ,000 participants who took part in video production through KWN gathered to enjoy a lively and global exchange.



Part 1

Opening


Children from 10 countries around the world gathered, and with the arrival of host Maxwell, the venue instantly came alive! After an introduction to the summit’s theme and highlights, the KWN Global Summit officially kicked off with a greeting from the organizer.



Team Introduction


After the team members introduced their names, participants from each country asked each other questions.
Participants were able to learn about cultures around the world by answering questions. Furthermore, as a special mission from the host, a quiz would suddenly begin when a bell rang, which got the crowd really excited! Everyone was excited but also enjoyed participating.



Exchanges that connect the world as one


Everyone passed around a ball in the shape of the earth, expressing the message that the world is connected as one in a fun way. The venue was filled with smiles, and with each passing round of the ball, it felt as if everyone was becoming one.

Award Presentation


The awards are finally announced!
The judging and award results were announced in four categories
The KWN Kids Award is where participating schools vote for the work they think is the best from outside their own country.
The KWN Fans Awards are open to anyone from around the world to vote online.
The Professional Awards are voted for by video professionals.
And then there is the Panasonic Award, which is voted for by Panasonic Group employees.


Ending


The summit was closed by the Secondary team in India. They delivered a wonderful message that was fitting for concluding the summit.



The KWN Global Summit 2025 came to a close, filled with excitement until the very end. Thank you to everyone from participating countries for your hard work!
