“Resyone Plus”, an assist robot for getting out of bed, offers a new transfer method in which one portion of the bed can be separated and used as a wheelchair. It enables “no-lift nursing”, solving issues such as risks associated with accidents when transferring patients from beds to wheelchairs and back pain in nursing care staff. By encouraging patients to get out of bed, it is also expected that they will remain motivated to live an active lifestyle and their QOL (Quality of Life) will improve.
