As a form of communication, Panasonic is developing a remote guidance service featuring an avatar. Operators can remotely control the avatar on screen, so employees can smoothly help travelers in the airport from home.
Panasonic is also providing a multi-lingual "face-to-face translation" service for tablets. Not only can it translate fixed phrases it can also translate free phrases as well, enabling face-to-face communication between individuals as they speak their native language.
