If we set out to better something, we will eventually realize it’s impossible to improve it to perfection. Touch up one point and almost always some new defect pops up as a result. Should we do nothing then? Just leave things as they are? It seems we have to weigh the relative advantages and disadvantages of proceeding. If the positive aspects are greater than the negative ones, it’s probably wise to proceed.
