The Appeal of Humans
It is misguided to expect perfection in what we do because we are humans, not gods. That is not to say we needn’t try hard or devote less than full efforts when we do things. Rather, it means we ought to be happy if we achieve, say, 90 percent of what we’d hoped to attain. Actually the 10 percent shortfall is what makes us human ― in other words, our inherent appeal.
