At the Olympic Games Athens 2004, Panasonic supplied 14 ASTROVISION screens in the Olympic venues including two screens in the main stadium. At the lighting of the Olympic flame at the Opening Ceremony, the ASTROVISION played a part in the production, such as tilting with the movement of the Olympic cauldron.
