The 2022 Panasonic Scholarship Alumni Networking Event was held online on February 16.
The Panasonic scholarship program does not stop at assisting students through their studies, but also helps to build connections with the goal of creating a network of alumni who remain active in their respective fields around the world.
Currently, our graduates are globally active, working in more than 100 cities beyond Asia in various fields and occupations, including healthcare, education, IT, consulting and finance.

In this exchange, 47 alumni and officials from 18 countries around the world outside Asia, including the United States, the United Kingdom, Switzerland and the Netherlands, participated from among the 370 alumni who obtained their scholarship between 1998 and 2013.

Mr. Mishima, Executive Officer and Ms. Fukuda, General manager in charge of CSR and Corporate Citizenship Activities, also participated in the meeting. After giving a few words, each of the graduates updated the others on recent events. The online chat function provided an opportunity for alumni to get to know each other better, helping to create meaningful discussions, not only reminiscing about the past, but also talking about future endeavors.

Participating alumni remarked on how grateful they were for the Panasonic Scholarship and hoped that exchange events would continue in the future and how happy they were to reconnect with friends they had not seen since graduation.
