Giving Guests an experience of a one-of-a-kind Park

We put together this special event so that all Guests can enjoy the world of the Disney movie Frozen. Guests can sing along and play together with Anna and Elsa during the greeting parade, and watch a special version of the nighttime entertainment, “Once Upon a Time,” featuring scenes based on Frozen. It allows the Guests to experience a one-of-a-kind park where they can meet Anna and Elsa. I remember my heart filling with emotion as I heard Guests singing along the song “Let It Go” and saw their delighted faces on the first day of the event.

The ice and snow crystal decorations have a striking shade of blue and blue-green like in the movie, fully bringing the world of Frozen to life. The photo location at the Entrance, the World Bazaar, and the trees around the Castle are heavily embellished with blue and green lighting, mirroring the image of the movie.

The Park maintains a bright, fun atmosphere during the day while a magical atmosphere envelops the Park at night, allowing Guests to enjoy varied looks of the Park in one day. Please come and experience Frozen, only in Tokyo Disneyland®.

Bask in the blue light of the nighttime world

Once the sun sets, the playful snowy world enjoyed by Guests completely transforms into a park enveloped with romantic sparkle.

If you go to the center of the World Bazaar, you can see the huge chandelier hanging from the ceiling. When the area grows dim, the lit-up chandelier becomes breathtakingly beautiful. The whole World Bazaar will be bathed in a blue glow.

Elsa cast her special magic on this place to bring joy to everyone. As you go further ahead, you’ll get drawn deeper into the world of snow and ice. This is precisely the magic created by the lighting.

Lighting magic turns darkness into an icy field

The whole area where pretty ice crystals line the Castle during the day is illuminated by a blue-green light, mimicking an icy field. If you stop and watch for a while, you will see the color of the icy field gradually changing.

The trees surrounding the icy field are also illuminated by blue-green spotlights, transforming them into trees covered in snow. It is astonishing how it somewhat feels warm despite the cold winter scenery.

The secret behind the lighting production that brings Frozen to life

Panasonic has supported the lighting production of this event, which recreates the world of the immensely popular movie, Frozen. It is such a relief to be able to support the event production through the blue lights used in illuminating the Entrance and World Bazaar, as well as spotlights for the trees.

For the first time ever, Panasonic has taken up the challenge of producing a Park event atmosphere that will perfectly convey the snow and ice essential in bringing the movie Frozen to life.

Our preparation for the event was short. While looking at illustrations of the completed image, we offered various suggestions using products from our existing selection for each area. And we also ended up using a full color LED for the first time.

We slightly adjusted the blue, green, and red colors of the full color LED for the surroundings of the Castle, and produced the blue-green tone of the world of Frozen.

When they said, “What a great production,” it was a great encouragement for me. It made me try my best to continuously offer better products.
